Maja Vidmar

Refrain

One can live,
yes, one can live,
nearly.
One can eat and drink
yes, one can,
bite and bleed.

In between is winter,
in between too
is many a night.
Everything and everyone
is in between

One can wait, yes.
Nearly.

Winter

Men smoke sweet
pipes,
Snowmen
in winter.

Who is afraid
of a snowman,
who comes and stays
in winter?
And the heart, so sensitive
for snow
in winter!
