Refrain
One can live,
yes, one can live,
nearly.
One can eat and drink
yes, one can,
bite and bleed.
In between is winter,
in between too
is many a night.
Everything and everyone
is in between
One can wait, yes.
Nearly.

Winter
Men smoke sweet
pipes,
Snowmen
in winter.
Who is afraid
of a snowman,
who comes and stays
in winter?
And the heart, so sensitive
for snow
in winter!
