\nthe poem rises with the mists that the day drags along;
\nit slips through the treetops, sings with the birds
\nand runs with the brooks that nobody knows
\nwhere they come from and where they go to.
\nThe poem tells how everything is made:
\nexcept itself, which begins by a grey chance,
\nlike this morning, and ends, also by chance,
\nwith the sun wishing to break through.<\/p>\n
