Snow, Elisabeta Iosif, Romania

Elisabeta Iosif · ROMANIA

Face of love, in thoughts, as snow fell from the sky.
With querying mellow eyes, it reflected itself,
then drove fluttering through the trees
—Oh, heaven’s downfall!—
Then every man became a tree,
embraced and covered with snow.

ELISABETA IOSIF (ROMANIA)
