THE WORD AGAIN

THE WORD AGAIN

Tonight
I don’t know how to write.
Is this a new state of mind?
Tonight
the words have a headache
as I am tired of them . . .
Tonight
not a single thought comes to my mind.
The paper is blank,]
and I wait and wait . . .
From the skies of thought,
words descend
and fill in
the cracks in my soul . . .
