The branch leans
its thin profile
to the windows, the body, of your eyes.

Birds, eyelids
The pupil
slightly turns toward
the sketched light.
Dawn, breaks
body, becomes the day.

Could the day stand still
by the naked branch,
be no more than an awakening.
