Constance picked up the brushes.
On the cover of the sketchbook
some fruits and vegetables.
Constanza painted the cherries green
and the bananas
blue
She gave the lettuce golden brushstrokes
as if they were searching heaven
Then I thought of grown ups,
so real and worn.
