Simple

        To understand the least things,
the briefest and the simplest,
I drank from the spring of pride,
climbed the mountain of the impossible,
crossed labyrinths and crossroads . . .

    At the end of the roads
staring into a great abyss,
I discovered the error
of following magnificent footsteps . . .

  Yesterday I ventured
and even barefoot, I think I succeeded

 and at last I understood

  how difficult it is

             to board the ship of the simple . . .
